Welcome to our cozy guesthouse, perfectly located on a quiet, traffic-free street right in front of a beautiful lake. We live in the guesthouse ourselves, so we’re around if you need anything during your stay. We’re happy to help with tips, directions, or anything else to make your visit comfortable and easy, while of course fully respecting your privacy. Guests also have access to shared spaces, including the kitchen and laundry facilities, which is especially convenient for longer stays. We provide basic supplies for cooking and for washing clothes. All rooms are equipped with Wi-Fi, a desk for working or studying, and a TV for relaxing at the end of the day. Each room also has its own lock for your comfort and privacy. Getting around is simple and convenient. From the house, you can walk to the train station and be at Utrecht Central in just 10 minutes. Cycling to the city is just as easy and a great way to explore the area like a local. Houten was awarded Cycling City of the Netherlands in 2018 and is famous for being extremely bike-friendly. We can also provide a free bicycle for you to use during your stay. Parking is free throughout the neighborhood, with several parking spaces available close to the house. We don’t have children, but we do share our home with our friendly white cat, who may greet you from time to time.
