I am a 41 y/o electrical technician and run a small company and work as a trade school teacher. I would describe myself as an easy-going guy. I was born and raised in the countryside on the east coast of Iceland, but have been living in Reykjavik for half of my life, apart from a few years abroad. I have rented the room out to friends and lately I have rented it out to exchange students. I can get references from former tenants here on this site. There has almost always been someone in the guest room since I moved in. I guess I like having people around. It is hard to speak for others, but I think I am fairly easy to share an apartment with.I am a relaxed person, but I like to keep the place neat. For a few semesters I have been studying on the side and I am hoping to get a job in teaching this autumn. Of course, it does no harm to have a bit of extra income, but I also think it would be a bit weird not having someone in that room.
