Its proximity to the river and bay—central elements of Seixal’s identity—is complemented by an excellent location: Lisbon is just 15 minutes away, some of Europe’s best beaches are within 15 minutes, and the Arrábida mountains and Azeitão are about 20 minutes away. Here, nature, history, and the river naturally become part of your stay. Seixal is a peaceful town offering close contact with nature, featuring a migratory bird observatory, water sports, and a rich historical heritage including the former cork factory, shipyards, traditional cod-drying facilities, and iconic tidal mills from the 14th century.
