This apartment is for you if you want to stay in a central Spanish neighborhood with local shops and a nearby plaza with tourist activities. Location This flat is located on a narrow street that leads into the local square. You ́ll be close to the action and the rush of the city while still retaining tranquility. Just a few minutes away you have El Rastro - a historic market that takes place every Sunday since the middle ages. El Rastro is the perfect place to pick up a souvenir to commemorate your stay. Afterwards, a few minutes walking from the apartment is Plaza Mayor; the main square of the city and a must-visit location. Also close by you have the Reina Sofía National Art Museum which holds a big collection of works from Dali and Picasso. For food, we always recommend the Ástor Gastro-Place for fresh cocktails, fine dining, and a great ambiance. Otherwise, you can check out DCorazon for traditional tapas in this underground restaurant. Concerning transport, there are innumerable bus and taxi options available. The closest metro station is Lavapiés but you also have Embajadores, La Latina and Puerta de Toledo metro stations to take you around the city and further on....
