Hi there, we have a beautiful 1- bedroom apartment in the lower ground floor of our old Munich town house available to rent for one year. Our lovely old city villa was built in 1936 and has a big garden. It is located only 2 mins from the bus stop and 8 mins on foot from the metro hub Laim, from where you can catch a train to the city center every 3 mins. Shops and supermarkets are just round the corner, the Nymphenburg Park and the famous Hirschgarten beer garden are also a 8 mins walk away. Parking is no problem here, just leave your car on the street outside the house. The apartment has all the privacy you want after a busy day out: walking through your own little garden on the sunny west side of our house, you enter the flat through a door integrated in a large glass facade and find a beautifully designed open plan space. There’s a dining table right next the window, the kitchen area to your left, a sofa and TV and your bed at the far end. The entire space is flooded with day light: a large south facing window beside the bed and the west facing 4 m glass facade with a view onto terraced flower beds make you feel you’re living in two worlds: connected to nature and yet inside your cosy home. The apartment has everything you need: a comfy 160 cm double bed (with bed clothes and linen of course), nice modern furniture and a TV, a well equipped kitchen with all the bits like pots, plates, cups, cutlery, a hob, a coffee maker, an oven as well as a micro and a dish washer. The bathroom is located at the far end of the space and has a shower, a wash basin and a toilet, a hair dryer, a hot towel rack and towels. There’s a large wardrobe, an iron and an ironing board and our own washer dryer is integrated in the kitchen line: You have all the stuff you need for everyday life, just walk in with your suitcase and feel at home. Heating, electricity and super fast internet are included in the monthly rent, there are no more fees but you will have to buy your own TV license. You can also register with the authorities at this address. Shops, supermarkets etc, gyms, doctors practices are just round the corner, a bus stop is literally 2 mins away and two of the most beautiful and renowned parks in Munich are just a few mins away: go for a run in the breathtakingly beautiful Nymphenburger Park or sit down for a pint in the Hirschgarten, Munich’s famous beer garden. We are an open house with a great sense of community. Three families share this very special place, you will meet kids and young people and there's always something going on in the garden. We enjoy sharing this house with friendly and respectful people who add to the atmosphere and help keep this place a unique 'island' in the city. So if you consider renting this apartment, please tell me a few things about yourself, your nationality, your profession or your project - and don't forget to include a photograph! Thanks, Oliver...
