Since our 22-year old daughter is studying abroad for another 6-12 months, my wife and I are renting out the brand-new Studio that we recently (July 2019) acquired for her. With the purpose of first renting it out - it would be a waste not using it - we have done all the interior design ourselves (my wife is an artist). Having lived abroad for shorter and longer periods ourselves, in the context of my job as a scientist/novelist, we are aware of what one seeks in a temporary residence; we feel that we live up to it! We just want to make you feel at home and enjoy the great city of Amsterdam, while making sure that our Studio is in good hands. We are looking for scientists/young professionals that are in need of a temporary residence (6-12 months) in Amsterdam. Shorter stays, from three months up, are negotiable, but renting out should never become a full-time job. The place is very well connected to the center of Amsterdam, the Zuidas and the VU/University of Amsterdam campuses. By the way, since you might wonder: I am a Dutch original - named after an obscure Biblical prophet - and have lived in Amsterdam for the greater part of my life.
