As a nod to Saharan tradition, Chalby blends a beautiful mix of desert design with Catalan classics. Resting in the heart of Esquerra de Eixample, this 220 square meter home feels divinely Barcelona. Stroll down the many promenades speckling the neighborhood or try some of the local flavors. Back inside the four-bedroom, three-bath home, the awe ensues. Barcelona boasts sunshine and what better way to enjoy it than on an expansive 70 square meter terrace? Just past the living area, Chalby opens up to a multi-space outdoor terrace. At the front is a four-person dining set. Follow the terracotta tiles to the end of the terrace with the spacious lounge area. The natural fiber hammock and sun sail shades make the space feel exquisitely Mediterranean. Backing up to the entrance, Chalby’s first bedroom sits to the left of the front door. Hints of Saharan design cover the space, from the geometric rug to the creamy linens covering the single bed. Tucked away to the right of the space are built-in closets. Across the hall is a full bathroom complete with an all-glass, walk-in shower, and traditional Catalan tiling below. Further down the hall, stairs leading to Chalby’s second floor are to the left while the kitchen is on the right. All-white cabinetry gives the kitchen a modern feel. The breakfast bar is open to the living area and complete with two-person seating. The kitchen comes fully equipped with state-of-the-art appliances and all the necessary cooking utensils. Before heading upstairs, step further into the space to find the lofty dining area just past the kitchen. Low-hung lantern lighting casts a luminance over the four-person dining set. Across from the dining room is a shelf-lined seating area. The downstairs space is concluded with the living room. Exposed wooden beams hang above the hand-selected furnishings. Walking up the marble stairs, the hallway to the right leads to the detached bathroom and bedroom, at the end of the hall. First, on the right, is the bathroom. Echoing a similar design to the downstairs bathroom, this space includes an all-glass shower and equally unique tiled floors. At the end of the right hallway is the second bedroom. Distressed mirrors rest above the queen-sized bed. At the other end of the room is a two-person dedicated workstation. The left hallway offers two bedrooms. Down this hall to the right is the ensuite bedroom. Once inside the ensuite, the space splits into two with the bedroom to the left and the attached bathroom to the right. At the room’s entrance are built-in closets. The bathroom offers a subway-tiled shower and a bright design. Back in the bedroom, earth-toned fiber panels sit behind the queen-sized bed and carry into the ceiling to create a Sahara-like escape. Across the hall, the final bedroom utilizes a similar fibrous texture behind two individual beds. The left of the space is lined with built-in closets. All bedding and linens are provided. *We welcome pets, fees are subject to apply.
