About the Historic House: This recently renovated 180 square meters, four-level house is located in a traditional Maltese building without an elevator. The property boasts beautiful tiled floors, unique wood-beamed ceilings, exposed stone walls and other unique finishes. As the house is situated overall several levels with stairs, it is, unfortunately, handicap inaccessible. The property features a private rooftop terrace with stunning views of La Valletta and Sliema, as well as partial sea views. This area is furnished with a table and chairs and a barbecue grill. Smoking and parties are strictly prohibited on the terrace. The top floor contains a simple kitchen equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, sink, gas stove, microwave, toaster, drip coffee maker, teakettle and more. Full sets of cutlery and crockery are provided along with pots and pans and other utensils. Going down the stairs to the third level, there is an open-plan, studio-style living area with parquet flooring. The living room is furnished with an L-shaped sofa, coffee table, and flat screen TV with local channels. The sofa can be used to sleep two guests if necessary and additional linens are provided. Off of the living area lies the bedroom with a double bed. All bedding, linens and pillows are provided, and you’ll find the beds neatly made on arrival. Please note the bedroom is separated from the living space by a wall (without a door). The first bathroom is located off the living space. It is outfitted with double sinks, a toilet, bidet and a bathtub with a handheld hose. Moving downstairs to the second level, there is an open-plan, studio-style living, dining, cooking and sleeping area with high wooden-beamed ceilings, original stone walls and unique floor tiles for an added touch of character. The living area is furnished with an L-shaped sofa and flat screen TV with local channels. The sofa can be used to sleep one guest if necessary and additional linens are provided. Next to the living there is a dining table and 4 chairs for eating at home when you don’t feel like dining out in one of Valletta’s best restaurants. Off of the dining area lies a double bed. The compact yet fully equipped kitchen has everything needed to prepare a simple meal. It comes with a refrigerator/freezer, sink, stove, microwave, toaster, drip coffee maker, teakettle and more. Full sets of cutlery and crockery are provided along with pots and pans and other utensils. An iron and board are provided for convenience. The second bathroom is located off the kitchen area. It is outfitted with a sink, toilet, bidet, walk-in shower and separate bathtub. A hair dryer is provided so there is no need to pack one. Bath towels are provided for all guests as well, but please think about bringing a separate towel for the beach or purchasing one on arrival. Finally, the first floor features the first bedroom furnished with a double bed, nightstand and bedside lamp. All bedding, linens and pillows are provided, and you’ll find all beds neatly made on arrival. This bedroom has a private en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, sink and toilet. The flat is heated during the winter months and has air conditioning for the summertime. A member of our Welcoming Team will meet you upon arrival, give you the keys and entry codes, a tour of the apartment and its appliances, help you to connect to the Wi-Fi and more. You’ll find a personal guidebook in the flat with suggestions on where to eat and shop in Malta. About the Valletta Area: The flat is located in the capital city, Valletta. You are right in the historical, cultural and vital heart of the entire island: just few steps from some of the most beautiful natural beaches of Malta but also from the precious architectural jewels that tell the baroque history of the island. Here you can enjoy a perfect beach life, but you can also visit the characteristic alleys of the city, the Great Harbour or stroll through Valletta’s beautiful gardens, as The Upper Barrakka Gardens or the Hastings Gardens. This is the perfect base from which to explore Malta’s rich history, landscapes and culture. Other popular areas of the island, like St. Julian or Spinola Bay, can be easily reached by public bus or with a rental car. You’ll find plenty of opportunities to try out new water sports or take an excursion to the neighboring islands of Gozo and Comino. It is an enchanting place that you cannot miss if you want to know the history and the soul of the Mediterranean Sea. Important Information and Policies - Cancellation. The apartment is not suitable for parties and the maximum number of guests should never exceed the maximum number of people allowed. - Minimum age. The main booker must be 21 years of age or older.
