The apartment has been partially renovated in December 2024, adding better and stronger heating, wooden floor, new smart tv, renewed bathroom, wall painting and luminaries. In an area characterized by typical Brussels houses, at the ground floor of a very quiet maison de maître, this independent 50 m2 apartment is fully furnished and equipped (really evrything you may need) . The antique and design furniture offers a unique sensation to be at home. At the entrance, a nice antique writing desk and bookshelf in a niche is comfortable to study/work at home. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped (new dishwasher, new washing machine, oven, microwave, new fridge, new freezer, etc...) with a large dining table and windows on the square. The separated bedroom is equipped with a a new 140*200 bed, armchair, closets, Smart TV/Sat, bookshelves, and it has large door/windows with access to the terrace garden. The terrace is partially covered by a transparent roof, it is furnished, and it has a barbecue installed. From the bedroom, a door opens in the large bathroom with WC, closets, window and a good rain shower. Our guests are usually professionals or PhD students. Occupancy is appropriate for one person only. However, occasional visitors can be allowed prior authorization. Two occupants (a couple, for instance) can adjust to the space too (additional utilities fee 180eur/month). The apartment has its own washing and drying machine, new iron and ironing table, vacuum cleaner, and other appliances/equipment. Free Wi-Fi and Lan are all over (Fiber high speed), perfect for home working. Smart working is allowed for 2 working days per week. The apartment is no smoking. No pets are allowed. No parties are allowed. The apartment and all appliances are in perfect status. Cleaning once a week is mandatory. The rental contract follows the applicable standard Belgian regulations. At check in/out a written "état des lieux" is signed between the parties. A guarantee of one month is requested to cover eventual damages to the property.
