Your room is on the ground floor of an authentic house about 10 km south of the city centre of Groningen. The room is fully furnished and all the needed equipment is available including towels and bedcloths. You will have the possibility to park your car on the terrain or stow your bike in a shed. The house is surrounded by a private garden in which you will have your own seat. You can prepare your meal in the room using a double cooking pit, an oven/microwave and a refridgerator. A waterboiller and coffee machine is present as well. You will share the bathroom with another tenant if present. It is about 2 sq. meters, including a shower and a sink. An additional service: We wash your cloths weekly in our washing machine if you want. The supermarket is fifty metres from the here and is opened from 8 to 8; sunday from 1 to 5. Besides that a bakery and several restaurants are within walking distance. A luxurious sauna/spa complex and outdoor swimming pool is nearby. A direct bus connection to Groningen centre leaves every 10 minutes and occasionally, in the morning, a direct bus to Zernicke University and ‘Hanze hogeschool’ is present. The bus stop is about 5 minutes’ walking from here and makes Groningen easily accessible. Also the hospital, Martini and UMCG, can easily be reached. Travelling time to Groningen centre is about 30 minutes; Zernicke university about 10 minutes more. Be aware of the following: - We have tree lovely cats. The walk in and out. So if you have a cat-allergy the room is less suitable. - Our house is just outside the city of Groningen in a small and quiet village.
