The quarter offers everything you can expect from Cologne in the immediate vicinity: from the traditional brewery and exquisite restaurants to bars, nightclubs and many small individual shops. Shopping facilities for daily needs are available in the immediate vicinity. All important destinations are within walking distance. The main station at the cathedral is 15 minutes walk away and from Friesenplatz underground lines go to all destinations. (Stop: Friesenplatz, 550 m away from the apartment) City-Tax: since 01.12.2014 the city of Cologne charges a culture promotion tax (bed tax) of 5% of the rent.
