Every 4 minutes (from 5 am to 12.30 in the night, 2 am, Friday and Saturday) a metro/tram is leaving from PAOLO UCCELLO stop to reach the city center (central station) in 5/6 minutes. Or if you choose to walk, it is only 15 to 20 minutes nice and easy walk along the Arno River with a stunning view of Florence We are close to the Polimoda in Florence, and the second location of Scandicci can be reached very well thanks to the tram, which stops 50 meters from the house. Near the ISIA of Villa Strozzi, we also had students from the Italian academy based in piazza pitti, who found our apartment a great location, to get to this school. The apartment is located in a residential area in the immediate vicinity of Victoria Bridge, near to the center but in a side street, so away from the from the busy, city-noise. We do not have a washing machine, but there is a self-service laundry a short distance from home, 5 minutes walk (in Batoni Square). Being on the ground floor, you will usefully not have up numerous flights steps as in many other apartments in the center of Florence! The largest park in Florence, Cascine Park, is some 2 minutes walk away and reached by simply crossing the River Arno. Anyone who loves sports can take long walks, go jogging or rent a bike. Additionally, on Tuesday mornings there is a produce market. Other things to note Close to the apartment there is a bar, a take-away pizza place, Pub, Chinese restaurant, and other restaurants, a rotisserie and a useful grocery store, self-service laundry, and two supermarket.
