The area is quiet, overlooking the Dora river and full of pedestrian tree-lined avenues, ideal for relaxing, eating, and having fun. In addition to hosting the new and futuristic Campus Einaudi of the University of Turin, in the neighborhood, there are bookshops (Il Ponte sulla Dora) and newsstands, the post office, supermarkets, bakeries, pharmacies, the Basic Village and ethnic restaurants and with the kitchen typical Piedmontese. If you want to try the typical Torinese aperitif you can't miss the Rossini, a historic bar on the Dora. There are many interesting points that can be reached on foot from the apartment: the Duomo (10 minutes), the sanctuary of the Consolata (18 minutes), the Porte Palatine (10 minutes), and Piazzetta IV Marzo (our favorite). In addition to the Mole Antonelliana (13 minutes), in Piazza Castello (15 minutes) and the galleries, the Royal palaces, the Regio theater, and the museums that overlook it. With a walk of 10 minutes, you can reach the multi-ethnic neighborhood of Porta Palazzo, famous for the outdoor food market of fruit and vegetables (the largest in Europe) and the indoor one of meat, fish, and various (every day ). With a walk of 15 minutes or so, flanking the river Dora you can reach and discover the popular Baloon second-hand market (on Saturdays). At the end of the district is the monumental cemetery of Turin (10 minutes on foot), which can be visited freely. The location of the house is really strategic and convenient for the Einaudi University Campus. A pleasant walk along the river quickly leads to the Rossini Bridge through which you can reach the city center: Mole Antonelliana (15 minutes on foot), Piazza Castello (20 minutes on foot). The accommodation is located outside the ZTL and parking is free nearby. At 30 mt. bus stop (Campus Einaudi): - 6, 68 from and to Porta Nuova Station and metro. - 19 from and to Porta Susa and metro. Both can be reached in 20-25 minutes depending on traffic. PLEASE NOTE At the check-in we will need to record the data of each guest, as required by Italian law, and you will therefore be required to show a valid document. The keys will be collected in our office in via Filippo Juvarra 24 in Turin, from 11.00 to 13.00 and from 14.00 to 23.00. It will be possible to enter the apartment after 15:00. The office can be reached from Porta Susa Station (where all regional / intercity and high-speed trains stop and also the Sadem shuttle from the airport) in 5 minutes on foot. If you are traveling by car, you will find free places in front of the office where you can leave the car in order to collect the keys. It will be possible to leave your luggage in the office, collect the keys and access the apartment once cleaning is finished, by 3.00 pm. We will provide you with further instructions one week before check in. For those who take advantage of the self check-in, we will offer a welcome welcome kit. After 21, check-in directly at the apartment is possible with the following extra costs: - EUR 25 from 21:00 to 23:00 - EUR 30 from 23:00 to 00:00 - EUR 40 from 00:00 until 01:30 All requests for late arrivals are subject to confirmation by the property.
