It's five minutes from the University of Iceland and you will not need a car or even a bus card. Everything is within walking and biking distance. The room is on the second floor - with partly lowered ceilings and roof windows facing south and north so you'll be able to enjoy the amazing sunset views and the auroras (northern lights) when visible. It comprises a double bed (180cm x 200cm), drawer and closets, small fridge, microwave, hot plate, coffee machine, desk and working space, chairs, large mirror, bookshelves and a TV along with access to a fully equipped kitchen with laundry facilities and a shared bathroom with bathtub. The room is perfect for a couple or friends who want to share a room. In case of a single occupancy a discount of 200EUR will be given. The grocery store is across the street from the house, four bakeries nearby and the geothermal swimming pool is within ten minutes on foot.
