The Chalets neighbourhood is ideally situated close to the historical city-centre. The area is bound to the north by the Canal du Midi and to the south by the boulevards Strasbourg and Arcole. It is nowadays one of the most densely-populated neighbourhoods in Toulouse. Here, you will discover the old mediaeval town, crossed by the ancient fortress walls and small alleys, which used to be agricultural byways. Have a look at the neo-gothic architectural style disseminated in the area – the Job Family Hotels and the Maison du Verrier also known as the Castel-Gesta are great example of this style.
