Just a 10 minute walk through the picturesque townsquare and past the Cascais Bay, the marina offers some great places to hang out with delicious fresh food. 10 minutes in the other direction will take you to the promenade filled with local restaurants offering the catch of the day and other fresh fish caught off our coast, you can walk for miles up the promenade towards São João taking in the ocean air and stopping for a coffee along the way! Although we are a smallish cobble street town with loads of charming narrow streets, we have a good selection of local museums, art exhibition centres and cultural attractions. If you love the water you can take a boat out on the ocean for an afternoon. Getting around You can go almost everywhere on foot. But in the case that you don't feel up to it or you want to go further afield there is great transport system called the BusCas and GiroBus. They are circular routes which take you to all the areas outside of the town centre as well as the out of town shopping mall and cinemas. Otherwise the train will take you to central Lisbon or catch the bus to Sintra from the bus station across the road den the train station. Ubers are also really cheap and easy to call from wherever you may be!
