Welcome to our home! The apartment, which looks towards the Castle, consists of a lovely bright double aspect living room/dining area. Perhaps, even more famous in the modern day, is the fact that the front living room and bedroom windows look onto the rear windows of the Elephant House cafe/bar where J K Rowling tucked herself into a corner and wrote the beginnings of - yes, that’s right - Harry Potter! You will see from the photos attached here that the apartment also has 2 bedrooms; the main double bedroom faces Candlemaker Row itself and is furnished with a very comfortable double bed and ample furnishings. The second bedroom, although it contains a full sized very comfortable double bed, is a compact size (ask for more detail if that is important to you). There is a recently fitted modern kitchen, fully equipped with cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine/dryer. The modern bathroom has an over-bath shower and the floors throughout the whole apartment are maple hardwood. Enjoy your stay!
