Hello there, We offer three separate rooms in a updated, fully furnished 3-room apartment in a central location in Mannheim that works especially well for international exchange students and young professionals visiting Mannheim for studies, internships or full-time trial periods. Of course everyone else is also welcome. You can move in directly as each room is fully furnished and equipped with a high-quality bed, as well as a work desk with office chair, a neat drawer and wardrobe for storage space and a leather armchair to chill and read. In addition, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom are at your disposal for common use with the two co-tenants. There is a dedicated washing room in the basement with a washing machine for the apartment. All communication as well as your rental contract will be in English to make things easy for you. We also speak English, German, Spanish, French and Arabic in case helpful. Finally, for best convenience, electricity, heating, and ultra-high-speed internet are all included in a flat fee - you will not have to deal with separate (German) utility contracts at all! We also welcome requests from a group that already knows each other for the three rooms altogether. Location The apartment is located very close to the city center, directly on the border between the districts Neckarstadt-Ost and Wohlgelegen in Friedrich-Ebert-Straße 42a on the 1st floor. A train stop is right outside the front door (Stop - Bonifatiuskirche), tram lines 5 and 4 stop here and you can reach the city center (Stop – Wasserturm) in 10 minutes and the university (Stop – Schloss) in 15 minutes. Directly across the street are green spaces for strolling around or going for a run incl. the popular Herzogenriedpark, which features a flower garden, mini-zoo, water features and other attractions. Supermarkets, coffee places, restaurants, pharmacies and the university clinic are located in the immediate vicinity of the apartment. Facilities All three rooms are similar in size (c. 20 sqm / c. 215 sq. feet) and one room even has a small balcony. Each room is fully furnished and equipped with a high-quality bed incl. new blanket & pillow, a work desk with a comfortable office chair for the occasional longer study (or gaming?) night, a neat drawer and wardrobe for sufficient storage space and a premium leather armchair to chill and read. In addition, a fully equipped kitchen incl. a ‘lounge setup’ is available for everyone to spend time together or have guests over. In case you value privacy, each room can be locked as well. Rent The three rooms are rented at a worry-free flat fee per month, including all utilities (heating, electricity, water and ultra-high-speed internet). This is very uncommon for the quite complex German Rental Market which typically sees tenants having to sign various lengthy contracts with utility providers oftentimes with unexpected supplement payments. You will experience none of this as we aimed to build the most convenient package for you for the smoothest possible start in Mannheim.
