The entire apartment overlooks a beautiful semi-private garden, so it is quiet, while you are still in the middle of a vibrant area. You have your own parking space in the private garage under the building. Layout: You enter in a spacious hall, with a wardrobe, from which you have access to every room. The living room has a comfortable couch and tv area, an open kitchen and dining table. You can step right outside onto the sunny balcony with chairs and dinner-table. This is the perfect spot for a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the setting sun. The kitchen is well equipped with induction cooktop, microwave, oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, refrigerator, freezer, water boiler and all the other supplies you need for a lovely dinner. There are two bedrooms: one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. In addition there is a full-size desk to work on while you enjoy the view over the garden. The bathroom has both a shower and bath, the toilet is separate. Next to the bathroom is the laundry room where you will find the washing machine, dryer, first aid cabinet, vacuum cleaner, drying rack and cleaning materials. Secure The entrance of the building is in a private courtyard. The gates close in the evening and the garden is then open to residents only. This is why it is quiet and secure during the night around the apartment. There are CCTV security cameras around the building. Location & Neighborhood The apartment is located in a very nice residential area with a nice town harbor and several restaurants with terraces around the corner. The old city center of Utrecht is reachable via the new pedestrian bridge across the railroad. Also, the Central Station is within 6 min walking distance. Right next to the station is a high street shopping mall, Hoog Catherijne. Supermarkets, Bakery, butcher, fresh cheese, fresh fish, drugstore, flowerstores, fashion... they’re all within 700 meters. Opposite the apartment are the Jaarbeurs hall, a huge cinema and the Princes Beatrix Theater. It is also an ideal location for business travelers. Getting Around It is surely one of the best locations in Utrecht because the largest train station in the country (Utrecht Centraal) is within 6 minutes walking distance. From there you have direct connections almost anywhere! Moreover, it is quite close tot the highways A2 and A12 (5 mins). In addition it is within 15 minutes walking distance from the old city center.
