Cozy private room in a warm family home - private fridge and microwave in the room. Our house is on quiet street yet so close to downtown. It's five minutes from the University of Iceland and you will not need a car or even a bus card. Everything is within walking distance. The apartment (a duplex) is on the second floor and this room is on the third floor - fairly small but you'll have access to a fully equipped kitchen and of course the shared bathroom. It comprises a fridge, microwave, double bed (queen size - 153cm), nightstand, double drawer, clothes rack, desk with chair on wheels and a lounge chair. The window faces west so you'll enjoy the most amazing sunsets early in the fall and spring and can enjoy the auroras before going to sleep. The ceilings are lowered so it's not convenient for very tall individuals. Intended for a single occupancy - not a couple. A small grocery store is across the street, four bakeries nearby and the geothermal swimming pool is within ten minutes on foot. It's a cozy family home and we have two friendly and well behaved female dogs - a black Labrador and a Golden retriever. Feel free to send us a message for more information.
