We’re spending four months on parental leave with our two children and would love to sublet our beautiful, cosy three-room apartment on Richard-Sorge-Straße in Berlin-Friedrichshain to kind, reliable tenants during this time. Ideally the entire rental period: 01.01.-08.05.2027! Our apartment is tucked away in the quiet rear building, a peaceful retreat right in the heart of the city. Despite the central location, you’ll mostly hear birdsong rather than traffic. The large, sunny, sheltered balcony overlooking greenery makes it feel almost like being on holiday. The apartment is currently set up with families in mind, making it ideal for those with young children. To make your stay as easy as possible, we provide safety rails for all beds, a high chair, a learning tower, and plenty of toys and books for children up to around four years old. Guests travelling without children are, of course, equally welcome. We can put away the toys and children’s equipment to create a more streamlined, clutter-free space that’s just as cosy and comfortable for couples or solo guests. The apartment comes fully furnished, with everything you need. Bed linen and towels, etc. are included. The apartment includes - Living room (25 m2): Spacious, bright and cosy—perfect for relaxing. - Bedroom (13 m2): With a comfortable king-size bed measuring 200 × 200 cm. - Guest room / home office (13 m2): With a comfortable daybed that can be used as either a single bed (80 cm wide) or a double bed (160 × 200 cm), plus a desk and a large monitor. - Bathroom: With a shower and bathtub. - Kitchen: Fully equipped, including a dishwasher. - Separate guest toilet: Especially convenient for everyday life - Large balcony: Sunny, sheltered from the wind and surrounded by greenery.
