The open-plan kitchen has a "breakfast bar", a very good stove, large fridge and a dishwasher. A large larder provides space for essentials such as a freezer, provisions, wood for the oven and other things. The apartment has two large separate bedrooms. which face east and, like the terrace, receive the morning sunshine. The master bedroom has a large king size bed and a desk. The second bedroom a smaller double bed and built-in storage cupboards. All rooms have central heating. On entering through the front door, you will find beautiful stone tiles in the hall and bathroom. The bathroom, which is also light and sunny, comes with a floor to ceiling shower and is equipped with a high quality new washing machine. Next to the bedroom is a large store room, which is suitable for clothes, shoes and other things like vacuum cleaner, etc. Behind the house there is a courtyard with communal garden, lawn and children’s play area. The street is quiet, tree-lined and cobble-stoned and has a number of architecturally beautiful buildings. The park in front of the apartment is a small paradise with ponds, walkways and ancient trees and children's play area. There is an open Qigong Group practising meditative movements in the park twice a week in the morning. There is even a local church at the edge of the park. The former Tempelhof Airport, which is now a huge green area and the creative playground for many Berliners, can be reached on foot within 10 minutes. Two Underground stops will take you to the UFA-Fabrik, a cultural oasis with performance art, concerts and entertainment. The famous ‘Bergmannkiez’ (the fashionable area of Kreuzberg) is a mere 10-15 minutes trip by Underground on the U6 or by bicycle.
