The bus line 10A is in a walking distance of approximately 7 minutes. and the tram line 42 in a walking distance of 10 minutes. The tram line 43 takes you to the very center of the city, namely Schottentor in 1st district, only within 20 minutes where the main building of the University of Vienna is located. You will need in total 45 minutes to the Vienna University of Economics and Business aka WU Vienna (line 43 and than U2). Less than half an half an hour to the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences aka BOKU (line 10A) or the Medical University and the General Hospital of Vienna aka AKH. Last but not least, the line 9 takes you within less than half an hour directly to the Mariahilferstraße which is Vienna's largest and best-known shopping mile with charming cafés, restaurants, and bars. As the location of the flat itself is concerned, you will find many supermarkets, a small but excellent pizzeria next door, a number of other nice restaurants, many fast food restaurants, two pharmacies, a branch of the city library, tennis sport fields, an indoor swimming pool (Jörgerbad), and outdoor swimming pool (Kongressbad), two bowling halls, and an ice rink.
