The nearest subway station, "Maffeiplatz," is just 500 meters (a 5-minute walk) away. It takes two stops on the U1 line to reach the Central Station, and just one stop further—at "Lorenzkirche"—puts you right in Nuremberg's city center. Transport connections are excellent; the U1 also takes you all the way to Fürth. The nearest supermarket (Lidl) is practically right on the doorstep. For Rewe, it’s best to take the train—it’s only one stop away. To get to Friedrich-Alexander University, you can take the tram; the stop is about a 10-minute walk away...
