The living environment The 3 room apartment on offer is located in the Schöneberg district of Berlin. The building, which was built in the Wilhelminian era, is part of a building ensemble that is lined with other residential buildings from the same era. Though a very family-oriented neighbourhood you’ll find a variety of small cafés and restaurants in the immediate vicinity, good shopping opportunities for everyday items and various leisure activities (fitness center, climbing castle, volleyball courts, “Biergarten”). Public transportation The Südkreuz train station is about a 10-minute walk from the apartment and can be reached by public transport two bus stops away. The bus stop is about 50m from the house. From Südkreuz train station you can reach Berlin International Airport Schönefeld in less than 40 minutes with a direct S-Bahn connection. There are good connections from here with the ICE to other major cities (Leipzig, Munich, etc.).Various S-Bahn lines ensure good connections to the surrounding areas. The building and the apartment The entrance area of the very well-kept building with its tiled walls and stucco ceilings leads to the carpeted staircases. Everything conveys a slightly elegant feel of the middle-class houses of this neighbourhood. The apartment on offer is on the third floor. The light-flooded rooms extend over a size of almost 100m2. The 3 rooms and the hallway area are equipped with parquet or solid wooden floors. Terracotta tiles are laid in the kitchen area. All rooms are accessible separately from the hallway. The rear hallway area opens up on the right side to the kitchen, which, in addition to a small kitchenette with a dishwasher, also has a dining area. The spacious bathroom next to the kitchen, with a bathtub and a separate shower, offers a washbasin and a toilet as well as space for the washing machine installed there. There is an additional guest toilet as well that can be accessed centrally from the hallway area. The dining room is right next to the apartment entrance door. The focal point of this room is the centrally positioned dining room table. It offers generous space for 6 people. A small, cosy balcony adjoins this room. Large, original authentic double doors lead from the dining room into the largest room in the apartment, the living room. The decorative ceiling stucco from the beginning of the last century is still completely preserved here, as well as in the dining room. In the extended bay window area of the living room there is an extra seating area with a view of the street on Gustav-Müller-Straße. Further comfortable seating, a TV and a ste(hidden)ystem complete the furnishings in the living area. At the end of the hallway, somewhat secluded, is the bedroom.
