As soon as you step out you are in the heart of the city, close to grocery stores, shops, bars, restaurants, bus stops, and by the lake (Tjörnin) -- all of it 2-5 minutes walking distance. You'll never need to take a taxi. The University of Iceland is 10-15 minutes by foot, the Arts Academy (main campus) is 15-20 minutes by foot, Reykjavík University is 20-30 minutes by foot, and all three are a short bike ride away. There are three bedrooms in the flat. The one available here has a big window, a desk and chair, an arm chair with a foot rest, a coiffeuse, a closet, a night stand and a queen-size (160x200cm) bed. Quality down duvet, pillow and bed linen is included as well as towels (all from the White Company, London). The apartment is on the 2nd floor of a 3-story house, Miðstræti 5, with one apartment on each floor. It is 125m2 in siz(hidden)ssical in style with wonderfully high ceilings (3,3m). Apart from the three bedrooms, there is a large (shared) living room (20m2), a lovely kitchen (15,5m2) with all standard kitchen appliances, a renovated white bathroom with bathtub/shower, and a hall with space to leave outdoor clothing. The living room has two sofas, a 55“ television and a balcony overlooking the street. The apartment comes fully furnished and the kitchen fully stocked. Home appliances are included in the apartment: washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, television, lamps, and lights. The apartment has renovated original floorboards and double-glazed windows. We are looking for a good, responsible female tenant, who will enjoy the apartment and take good care of it, someone who will make a great roommate for the others living there and an excellent neighbour for the people living upstairs (the owners) and downstairs. No smoking and no pets, please...
