I am an economist with a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago. I worked 11 years in the Reserch Department of the Bank of Italy in Rome and 3 in the Research Department of the IMF in Washington. I was Economic Adviser of the European Commission in Brussels from 1984 to 1987 and of Yelstin in Moscow from 1996 to 1998. Since 1989 I was professor of Economics until retirement. See (hidden). From 1999 to 2014 I have supervised the restoration of Castello Monticelli, a listed building located between Rome and Florence which is over 1400 years old. Now it is a resort. See (hidden).
