Located on the car-free island of Tranholmen, the home provides a calm, safe environment while remaining highly accessible for commuting and city life. The island is reached by public ferry or private boat year-round. During winter (November–April), a pedestrian bridge connects Tranholmen directly to the mainland in Stocksund, allowing easy walking access. The house was renovated in 2016 and offers generous living space across seven rooms. Private boat (optional): A private motorboat may be made available for tenant use by separate agreement. Stocksund Parking: A large resident car park is available in Stocksund, complete with chargers for electric cars. SL Boat Service: The public SL boat operates daily all year, connecting Tranholmen to Ropsten (for transfer to bus or subway) and other destinations like Nybroviken and Ekudden in Djursholm. Boat Pool: A collective boat pool provides rowboats for the short 100m row across the strait to Stocksund at its narrowest point. Minimum stay: 12 months.
