With a 5-minutes walk you can reach the Old Town of Mestre where you can see the main Squares, such as Piazza Ferretto, and Piazza Barche, but in that zone there are also many pubs and bars where young people and student go. The area is also comfortable for the public transport: you can catch the bus to reach the centre of Mestre in Corso del Popolo. In this street, however, you can also catch the night buses and the buses to go to Venice that take 10 minutes to reach the Island.
