The apartment is best suited for 4 people to share as each person has a separate study/bedroom and there is in addition a large living/dining room for everyone to use and relax.There are 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, (1 with an en-suite bathroom and WC, 2 shower rooms and two additional WCs) and a big living room with an open plan kitchen. The apartment is light and airy and well furnished and very comfortable. There is an operator/office chair and table in each room for a computer and studying. The apartment has fibre optic broadband. The apartment is fully air-conditioned with reversible units which are lower in energy to run. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, oven, an induction hob, two fridges and a small freezer. The living room has two large and comfortable sofas and armchairs and there is a dining table which comfortably seats six people. A covered parking space is also available within the residence. The residence is very calm and peaceful and in the grounds there is a swimming pool, two tennis courts, table tennis room and a boules court. It is set in beautiful grounds and gardens of 11 acres and is secure and safe. It is ideal for studying without traffic noise or other interruptions. The apartment has also been the perfect place to stay during the lockdown periods. The students have found it to be peaceful and safe. They have enjoyed the wonderful facilities provided with the rental such as enjoying walking in the beautiful grounds of the domain, or exercise by playing tennis, table tennis and swimming in the warmer months. There are also numerous country parks that are within a short walk and also ideal for bike riding. It is also within easy reach of the old and picturesque village of Mougins, Mouans Sartoux, Valbonne as well as Cannes and Antibes. The apartment is very close to a number of institutions in Sophia Antipolis such Eurecom, DSTI Business School, Campusid, CESI, the University of Nice (Sophia campus) and IDRAC. I have been renting to students from Sophia Antipolis for approximately 26 years and it has always been a happy experience for everyone involved. Please note that previous students have been able to claim Allocation Familiales for this apartment. Shopping There is a very good bakery just outside the gates and a bakery and cafe within a 8-10 minute walking distance as well as a pharmacy and cafes. There is the main commercial centre in Tournamy with a big supermarket, restaurants banks and other shops. There is also a Casino and other shops near the universities where shopping can done at lunchtime. Transport and getting to Sophia Antipolis There is a direct bus no 650, twice in the mornings, midday and afternoons, especially for students . For example to get to Eurecom, the University of Nice Campus or Skema this bus goes direct to and from Mougins-Le-Devens bus stop to Sophia I.U.T. Both bus stops at either end are within a short walk of the apartment and the schools. The bus stops near the house are Mougins-Le Devens and Les Cliniques, both are about a couple of minutes walk away. You can also take the 650, or the 630 at other times and stop Sophia Gare Routière (or Gare des Messugues, it's the same stop), and then take an Envibus. Make sure, when you get into the 630, to tell them you want to take an Envibus afterwards so they give you a ticket otherwise you'll have to pay extra.
