The Villa was built in the early ’50s in the Rationalist style; it was the architectural style of the late ‘30s and ‘40s, based on the square shape. The owners live just upstairs. The lower floors are divided into 3 separate apartments. The garden surrounding the house is a magic place: it was drawn by a famous Italian landscape architect, Giordano Marracini, who realised the outdoor scenes for the Oscar winning movie “La Grande Bellezza”. It consists of four different areas: the safe parking, the common space with a nice table for your lunches, the Japanese corner with beautiful big Koi carps swimming and a bamboo scenery flat, the lawn where you can relax on beach chairs, cradled by the breeze. A location on the Appian Way is considered among the coolest in Rome, nowadays. At six Km only from the Colosseum (the record by car is only 5 minutes without traffic at all ! or 30 minutes jogging ), very close to the G.R.A., to the airports ( Ciampino 7 minutes – Fiumicino 25 minutes without traffic), to the center. A clever bus stop is just in front of the house, the metro station with an almost free parking (Arco di Travertino) is at only 6 minutes by car. The village nearby (Quarto Miglio) has every facility at walking distance: five restaurants (high quality & low prices), three bars, two supermarkets (24/24), bank, gas station, pharmacy, hardware, etc. The highlight of the area is the Park of the Appian Way – Parco dell’Appia Antica. A true time machine, at a few minutes from Domus Ipazia, where you can go jogging, or biking, discovering the hidden jems in the countryside, herds of goats and sheep around you. Domus Priscilla has four bedroom: the Master king-size bedroom with a private bathroom, two large bedroom, the “ Michelangelo” having a double queen-size bed, plus a single bed, the “ Geisha” with twin beds, one bathroom with double sinks for those bedrooms, plus the nanny’s bedroom with its own bathroom.
