How does HousingAnywhere share your data with third parties?
Under certain circumstances and conditions we work with third parties like:
Business Partners ( Affiliates), that we use in order to promote our listings to a broader audience. Affiliates aim to drive users to an operator’s site/app (HousingAnywhere) with the aim of such user signing up and book a room. This means that the operator will be a controller in respect of such users once they have entered the operator’s site/ app (HousingAnywhere), but prior to this the operator has no relationship with the traffic that is being driven towards the Affiliates site. No personal data is shared with our Business partners.
Third-Party Service Providers: We use service providers to process your personal data on our behalf. We use Service Providers for purposes such as sending marketing communications, validating your email and account details. Third party service providers are bound by confidentiality agreements and are not allowed to use or share your personal data for any other use than of those stated above.
Payment Providers or (other) Financial Institutions: A Payment Provider is a third party service we use to process payments related to bookings. In the case of a charge back of a booking that has already been processed, we need to share some banking/booking information such as IP address and booking confirmation, with the payment service provider and financial institution so we can handle the chargeback. We may also share information with relevant financial institutions if we consider it necessary in the case of fraud protection and purposes.
The Personal data shared with Business Partners or other Third-party services are encrypted for the safety of the data processed.
