The living room, with a (brand new autumn 2012) sofa-bed, is a comfortable space to watch TV or to discuss nearby the fireplace (decorative) during the day or the evenings. The kitchen is small & smart and nothing misses for a good meal preparation. The bathroom has a big shower and a window on the internal courtyard. From the living, with a couple of steps downward it i possible to reach the first sleeping room (single bed) which is not a high ceiling one (170 cm) but it is cozy and gives the feeling of a warm and safe place. The second bedroom is in a mezzanine upstairs and is equipped with a double bed. All the facilities are included: big flat screen TV, internet, telephone, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, etc, but the most interesting thing of this apartment remains its magic position, on the Saint Louis Island, in the heart of the river Senna and in the heart of the town. An island in the heart of the city: probably the most romantic place of Paris! Next to Notre Dame, just few steps from the main Parisian museums and sights and surrounded by the oldest and most charming neighborhoods of the capital, the Ile Saint Louis is connected to both banks of the river Seine by 6 bridges and is the ideal place for peaceful walks along the river and for lively summer picnics. At a walking distance from many monuments and museums, it is possible to see in this area many houses dating from the 17th century. The neighborhoods are busy during the day, also because of the presence of bistrots and restaurants and a number of traditional shops (bakeries, wine and cheese shops, florists, etc.) and are extremely calm and safe in the evening. This apartment is located in a very calm site because there are no bars, shops or restaurant in the same street. The metro lines are just at the end of the bridges and a public bike sharing point is also very close.
